Mark Runacus, Chair of the DMA Awards committee, commented: “At an uncertain time for our industry and for the country following the Brexit vote earlier this year, it’s more important than ever that we continue to innovate. Data-driven marketers are in the strongest position to do this by harnessing the insight that’s at the heart of everything we do. Delivering fantastically creative, strategic and successful campaigns is what we do, through good times and bad. Every year the DMA Awards are a snapshot of the best work the one-to-one marketing industry has to offer and a showcase of the sheer breadth of talent that makes up the sector. It’s fantastic to see the quality of work we’re producing, but in a challenging climate we must make sure we’re continuing to deliver this great work over the coming years too.”

Rachel Aldighieri, MD at the DMA, added: “This year’s entries were once again filled with creative and strategic campaigns that delivered fantastic results, so even getting them down to a shortlist wasn’t easy. From fantastic copywriting and visuals right the way through to the use of data, every judge I’ve spoken to this week has remarked on the quality of entries this year. As a shop window for our industry, it’s fantastic to see so many agencies on this year’s shortlist and the breadth of talent and skills we have.”

The winners of the DMA Awards 2016, supported by headline sponsors Whistl, Emarsys and Selligent, will be announced at the DMA Awards night at Old Billingsgate on Tuesday 6 December.
