Beverly is a leading trainer and consultant in digital and direct marketing, with extensive experience in communication strategy and media planning. Beverly’s industry background extends over 30 years, commencing at Times Newspapers before moving to Ogilvy and later becoming a Board Director and Head of Direct and Digital at Carat UK, working with companies such as American Express, British Gas, LV= and Royal Mail. On the academic side, Beverly was Course Director for the BA Digital Marketing at London South Bank University, and more recently Programme Leader for the BA Advertising at Bournemouth University, where she co-authored the digital editions of Marketing (Wiley) and successfully defended her PhD research into media campaign planning in the digital environment.


Beverly is now a partner in Business Solutions and supports the IDM as a Senior Tutor, member of the IDM Qualifications and Training Committee and Exam Board member. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, an IDM Educator of The Year and volunteers as a Digital Champion with Dorset Council, offering one-to-one guidance for residents looking to get online and improve their digital skills.
