Why not use different platforms to expand your email list?

2. Blog / Other Platform

Your blog is a great place to expand your email list. Place a subscription box on the blog website and in each post to increase your odds of getting more subscribers.

If you don’t enjoy writing, you might want to use another platform you’re comfortable with.

You could run a podcast or produce videos to build your email list. Whatever that is, giving away quality content on regular basis helps to grow a subscriber list.These people follow you for some reason and chances are that they would like to be on your email list.

They are also much more likely to buy your products.

But your money can be allocated to advertising your product to a community, and not a random set of people.

For example, John Lee Dumas runs a podcast Entrepreneur on Fire. If you have a great product that will make an entrepreneur’s life easy, you can hit him up there. His episodes are on things entrepreneur and he boast a loyal audience. His Septembers listens totaled to more than 1 million.

Native advertising is basically the sweet spot between publishing content and advertising.

Paid search is a great way to fuel your funnel with brand prospective clients.

Display your ads to users who need your product/service. If they click through to your website, you can easily get their email address.

You’ve surely heard of Facebook ads, but there are other social media platforms that can build your email list fast.

For example, Instagram has seen exponential growth.

It boasts 500 million monthly active users and 300 million daily active users.

What content management system do you use?

Video description box is a perfect place to add a call to action and a link to your website.

18. Twitter

Twitter chats are a great way to reach new audience.

Before you host one, make sure you participate in a few of them.
