The Big Book Crit is going online this spring

Run in collaboration with the Graeme Robertson Trust, the Big Book Crit helps students and aspiring creatives to break into the advertising and marketing industry.

While we're all staying at home, this spring we're taking the Big Book Crit online. And, as always, it's completely free.

Our Virtual Big Book Crit gives you the opportunity to receive honest, constructive feedback on your work from industry experts who have been there, done that, and got the T-shirt – all from the comfort of your own home.

We’ve enlisted over 60 industry experts from across the UK - including Creative Directors, Art Directors, Heads of Copy, Designers and more, who have all agreed to volunteer their time to critique your work this May.

All you need to do is register your interest online here, and we’ll pair you with a professional creative. We'll introduce you both by email so that you can arrange a time to ‘meet’ virtually, by whatever format you both choose e.g. Skype, Teams, Zoom, Google Hangouts or good old-fashioned email and phone.

If you’ve got a portfolio, or at least three pieces of creative work related to advertising or marketing ready to show, the Virtual Big Book Crit is for you. Our online crits are available to students at any stage of any course, recent graduates, or anyone starting out in their career in creative advertising.

We’ve put together some Guidelines for you to read before you sign up, which explain in more detail how the virtual crits will work and include some tips for making the most out of them.

If that doesn’t get you reaching for your laptop and clicking book now, we don’t know what will.
