Across three action packed days, our free to attend Creative Data Academy will show you how data, insight and information are harnessed by marketers to craft inspiring and memorable campaigns.

You’ll delve into the world of data-driven marketing, working on a real life marketing brief from Costa Coffee, hearing from a range of data experts, networking with data and marketing professionals looking to recruit, and discovering the vast array of job roles available.

Anyone can attend, we just ask that you have a passion, enthusiasm and curiosity about a career in data and marketing, plan to work in the UK, and are 18 or over by 24 March 2024.

It doesn’t matter what you’re studying. Past academy delegates have studied a wide range of subjects from Marketing and Business to English, Psychology, Physics, Maths, Computer Science and Biochemistry.

It's also open to recent graduates and apprenticeship completers who are looking for their next step in their data and marketing careers.

The Academy will take place in London, 26 - 28 March 2024.

It's FREE to attend, lunch is provided on all three days, and we'll provide accommodation for you on the 26 and 27 March if you live outside a commutable distance to London.

At the Creative Data Academy you will:

  • Work on a marketing brief for Costa Coffee using data and analytics. This will be presented to you on the first day and you'll build your response over the course of the academy, pitching it to the client on the last day.
  • Get inside the real-world of creative data with talks, Q&As and workshops with established industry data and marketing practitioners.
  • Visit RAPP, a leading advertising agency, to discover what agency life is like.
  • Network with data and marketing professionals who are looking to recruit.

The Academy is just the start of your DMA journey

Once you have submitted your feedback about the Academy, we will make you a DMA Student Member for 12 months, free of charge (usually £45).

This will give you access to further learning through two professional qualifications accredited by the IDM, the Award in Marketing and the Award in GDPR, which usually cost £594 each.

You'll also have access to a wealth of DMA resources, including DMA Award winning case studies, DMA best practice guides and articles and DMA events and webinars, all designed to add to your marketing knowledge and put you a step ahead of your peers.

Being a Student Member shows employers you're committed to your professional development and that you're actively seeking to improve your skill set, making you more employable.
