Role Profile

As a Communications Officer it will be your role to create and distribute a range of different content in order to create engagement with the orgaisations brand, sending a clear image of the company, activites that are held within the organisation as well as doing promotional work for products. You essentially will be in charge of creating and maintaining the image of the company. Ensure that there is support offered to internal and external communication strategies and respond to inquiries from the public or media and organise promotional events. To be successful as a commincation officer it is essential for you to be able to think creatively and have a excellent communication skills in order to efficienly work in a team where interpersonal skills are very important as well.

Key responsibilities

- Collaborate with management and develop new efficient ways of communicating with target audience

- Monitor the entire processes of creating cotnent from writing, editing, and distributing marketing material, website content and annual reports that comunicate the company's actvities

- Respond to any enquires from the media in relation to the organisation, arranging interviews and acting as a spokesperson

- Monitoring, tracking and reporting of reviews and feedback online

- Managing and organising events in order to boost brand awareness

- Liasing with other departments such as Marketing, PR, Sales and Communications teams

- Stengthening relationships with customers, industry professionals and journalists

- Being up to date with current digital technology trends and developments

Requirements

Excellent organisational skills, as you'll need to monitor and facilitate communication across multiple social media accounts

A good understanding of business processes and operations

Be willing to remain up-to-date with current industry developments

Strong grammar and spelling skills and the ability to create engaging content

Good computer skills, including knowledge of relevant software programs and tools, such as analytics tools

Solid knowledge of social media management tool and social media platforms
