Perfecting Personalisation...with an Egg.

Hello Market cracked it with a personalised chocolate egg.

A recent campaign for the online marketing comms software’s parent company and print arm DMP, saw a fantastic response and it was all down to a bit of confectionary heaven: a particularly nice, chocolately Easter egg, personalised to the winner.

DMP sent out a competition, using personalised cards, including mulitiple recipients at the same business address individually addressed and with names in different colours, to more than 400 customers old and new asking them to reply with their details to enter a draw. The response topped out at 10%, which as every marketeer knows, is a great return for this sort of campaign.

Chocolate and simplicity were the key. Everyone loves a sweet treat and DMP kept effort to a minimum with an easy ask for each entrant – just send us your name and contact details. At the same time, recipients could see how bespoke mailings can really work. The result is an encouraging number of hot prospects engaging with the company and DMP has flagged up its services far and wide.

The campaign effectively demonstrated how quickly and easily marketing comms can be set up and run, reflecting the myriad opportunities for personalisation offered by Hello Market. It should have inspired businesses to think outside the box to get a better response from their marketing.

DMP’s Hello Market platform allows businesses of all sizes to create tailored, personalised, dynamic direct mail campaigns.

Hello Market software is free to use online and users only pay for what they print and mail. There are no set up costs and no minimum run charges, so it’s ideal for every organisation to use for some or all of its communications requirements.
