After a rigorous judging process and an afternoon of heavy debate, the panel made up of GRT Trustees have shortlisted the 3 finalists for this year’s DMA Breakthrough Award, and, for the second year in a row, all three are studying in Scotland.

.

The 3 finalists are:

  • Ida Bukantyte from Edinburgh College
  • Marta Winogrodzka from Edinburgh College
  • Jack Brodie and Brodie Childs from Edinburgh Napier

.

Direct Line provided the brief, which challenged aspiring creatives to develop a multi-channel campaign that would build awareness and excitement, and raise consideration of Direct Line pet insurance.

.

The finalists are now hard at work perfecting their pitches, which they’ll deliver on 3 December at DMA House in London to a panel of judges from both Direct Line and the GRT. After which, all finalists will experience the glitz and glamour of the DMA Awards where, surrounded by some of the very best creatives in the country, they’ll find out who wins the prestige of a Gold award and £1,000.

.

The other finalists won’t go home empty handed, with a Silver award plus £500 and a Bronze award plus £250 up for grabs.

.

You can keep up to date with the pitches on 3 December, and be amongst the first to know who wins Gold, by following us on twitter @DMATalent.

Direct Line sponsored the DMA Breakthrough Award 2019 and provided the brief, which focused on Direct Line pet insurance.
