The GRT has a big ambition; it is working tirelessly to ensure that young people, no matter what their background, have the best possible chance of pursuing a career in the creative industry.

As part of its work, the Trustees of the GRT are aiming to appoint 300 leading professionals from agencies and client-side to back this vision.

The group of special Associates will help guide the charity and be ambassadors for its cause across the industry.

All of the Associates will have two things in common; a love of creativity and a belief that absolutely anyone should be able to pursue their dream of working in our industry.

Overview of role:

To be an associate to the Trustees of The Graeme Robertson Trust, acting as an ambassador of its work and a source of knowledge and support.

Required duties:

  1. To attend no more than two meetings per year to offer ideas and guidance on specific topics linked to your expertise.Topics will range from identifying the best ways to develop young creative, to understanding the changing nature of the agency industry.
  2. Attend a small number of GRT events.
  3. Include the ‘Graeme Robertson Trust Associates’ status on your Linkedin account (and other social profiles where appropriate) to help us raise our profile within the industry.
  4. Some Associates (usually Creative Directors) will be invited to take part in the Big Book Crit events, where they can support and give feedback to young people directly.

Recognition:

Each Associate will be listed on the DMA and IDM websites as an official GRT Associate. Names will also be published on event collateral where appropriate.
