As the world has become more politicised, we’ve began to see words used in a more motivational way – short, snappy copy that incites action and urges people to stand up for themselves.

And not simply in hashtags – placards carried in protests have begun to be more visible.

Join Abi Ellis, ECD at Wunderman where she will be discussing some well-known impactful short messages.

Following that, you will have the chance to create a series of your own signs on a range of different topics - and we’ll see if they can match the intensity and the wit of the protest marchers.

After all, this initiative is also a protest – a demand for everyone to take words more seriously.
