Community Rules
Welcome to your DMA community. This is a place for you to contribute and trade top-notch ideas, information, inspiration and, yes, healthy debate.
So to make sure all these good things happen and ensure that dma.org.uk is the kind of forum that you want to join and find helpful, we've got a few house rules we'd like you to swot up on and stick to.
Remember: your profile will be displayed alongside your contributions. Also, the power of downvoting your contributions is in the hands of the community, so make sure whatever you post adds to the debate.
Before you race off, here are a few things to bear in mind when you put finger to keyboard:
Be relevant
Be constructive – always explain WHY you think what you think
Be courteous
Be positive
Be yourself – this is a place to meet like-minded people
Only post comments you'd be prepared to say to someone face to face (don't hide behind the internet)
Support your views with good sources, examples or other evidence
Cite your sources for any content that is not originally yours
Contribute regularly!
Sales pitching
Inane comments that, however well-meaning, do not contribute to the debate – for example: "Good point".
