Campaign Overview
Revolutionary software aid SafeTug makes bringing in vessels safe and more efficient, but greater market awareness was needed.
Strategy
360° video was key to create awareness of TM&I's groundbreaking product among an audience relatively unused to smart technology.
The experiential content showed how the solution enhances port operations.
It was promoted via a highly targeted campaign to generate leads among existing and new customers.
Creativity
Tugs use 360° thrust and visibility, so the creative solution involved showcasing SafeTug's benefits in an immersive 360° video and VR experience through the complicated berthing process of a 57,000 tanker.
To truly value SafeTug, the audience needed to view it in action.
An immersive 360° video was deployed - viewable on desktop using mouse to shift perspective, or on smartphone using cardboard VR.
Drones took aerial shots, and filming took place in rare perfect conditions.
Breathtaking wide-angle shots gave a great view of the docking process, enabling the film-makers to tell their story accurately and artistically.
