I see⦠a good year for marketing

Now I am no Mystic Meg – but I have to say when I have done ‘year ahead predictions’ before they have been pretty accurate, so the pressure is on to get some goodies from my crystal ball/snow shaker.

1. I see mobile getting creative…mobile is growing as quickly as predicted but the creative output is sometimes disappointing – in 2014 this will change.

2. I see heartstring tugging throughout the year… the John Lewis Xmas ad has made (some of) us cry as has Sainsbury’s reunion work – I think we are going to see the emotions of Christmas ads moving into the other seasons.

3. I see smart content creation… content is king or so they say – in 2014 we will see content continue to grow but in a more strategic, personal, real-time way.

2014 is going to be a good one people. Right I am back off to my caravan to polish my balls (crystal of course).
