DMA Scotland Chair Firas Khnaisser today announced Robin Huggins, Director of academy and client services at MBN Solutions will Chair the Talent hub of DMA Scotland.

Rob has been involved with the DMA for several years, assisting in DMA Talent’s Creative data Academy in Edinburgh and latterly joining DMA Scotland within a talent capacity.

Rob brings a wealth of experience in the data talent space, already working closely with The Data Lab’s Masters in Data Science courses across Scotland by helping the students find their way into work placements and permanent employment.

Keeping Scottish educated talent in Scotland is more crucial than ever since the City Region Deal was announced back in August 2018, particularly as Scotland has been named the future data capital of Europe.

Firas commented ‘DMA Scotland has a key role to play in being able to attract, nurture and retain local data and marketing talent in Scotland. We are joining up with likeminded individuals and organisations who share this same ambition to help make a stronger impact. It’s an honour and pleasure to have Rob lead the talent journey with us as he is very passionate and active in this space, Rob will play a key role in helping to shape and deliver resources and programmes that will make a tangible difference to lives and careers of talent in Scotland’.

Rob commented, ‘I am incredibly honoured to be asked by DMA Scotland to Chair their Talent Hub. Having collaborated with DMA Scotland in the past on the topic of Employability within the data and digital sectors, I recognise the invaluable work that they are doing with their emerging talent initiative. I look forward to contributing to the overall strategy to this very worthy initiative’.
