Applications are open now for the next round of Creative Informatics Resident Entrepreneurs and close on Wednesday 19th May at 5pm. Nine projects will be selected to receive funding of up to £12,000, plus mentoring via the Creative Edinburgh Mentorship Scheme, a paid membership for FutureX Plus, and access to the Edinburgh Innovations Enterprise Toolkit.

For the first time, Creative Informatics is teaming up with Marchmont House, a home for makers and creators situated in Berwickshire in the Scottish Borders, to offer a creative residency to one successful Resident Entrepreneur applicant. This fantastic opportunity will include an initial two week stay at Marchmont House in September 2021 and use of the Tower Studio workspace, with the possibility of an additional two week stay in 2021/22, subject to agreement between the successful applicant and the Marchmont House team.

As well as accommodation and studio space, the residency will include regular check-ins and mentoring with a member of the Marchmont House team, led by Hugo Burge, former CEO of Momondo Group, now Co-Founder of Marchmont Ventures and the Marchmont Makers Foundation.
