Ralph Risk
Ralph joined Lightspeed GMI in November 2005 as the European marketing manager becoming Marketing Director in July 2008. He is responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing strategy across Europe to promote Lightspeed GMI within the market. This is achieved mainly through PR, direct mail, social media, trade shows and seminars and conferences.
He is an exceptional communicator who is regularly asked to present at media, marketing and research events, including Figaro Digital, the Insight Show, the Mobile Marketing Association and the IAB.
Ralph has over 15 years marketing experience with over half being within market research.
Ralph previously was a senior marketing executive within the ORC e-Insight department at ORC International. There he was responsible for the marketing and development of their Internet products and was responsible for maintaining the corporate Internet site and customer database. Ralph also organised and presented at several seminars on using the Internet for research.
Previously he worked for Canon UK Limited within their dealer-marketing department and was responsible for all aspects of marketing to their office product dealers. While at Canon he developed and managed their new Extranet site which helped revolutionise the way they communicated with their business partners.
He started his career at the marketing consultancy, Marketing Management Services, where he worked with SMEs developing their business and marketing plans.
Ralph holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in marketing from Stirling University and a Chartered Institute of Marketing diploma.
