Leigh Lafever-Ayer is responsible for making the workplace great at Enterprise Holdings in the UK and Ireland. She started her career at Enterprise as a graduate in branch operations and has held many positions within the organisation.

Leigh champions, advises and sponsors DEI initiatives at Enterprise, who have been recognised by The Times as a Top 50 Employer for Women each year since the award’s inception. Leigh is passionate about making business and industry more attractive to women. She created and is editor of DRIVE magazine, an internal Enterprise e-zine, to focus on gender equality.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car has been recognised for their work in the UK for skills employability, LGBTQ+ commitment, race equality and social mobility. Most recently, Enterprise sponsored the Race at Work survey with Business in The Community (BITC).

Leigh is also on the BITC Gender Leadership Board. Externally she volunteers her time on advising organisations including Bridge Builders Mentoring, Global Diversity Practice, Royal Holloway London School of Business and Management and DMA Talent Advisory Committee.

Recently, Leigh was recognised by the Institute of Directors for the Equality and Diversity Director of the Year - Southeast.

Leigh is originally from Cookeville, Tennessee, and now lives outside of London with her husband, daughter and Labrador.
