Role Profile

As a PR manager, you’ll be responsible for the image presented to the public of the company offline and online. Your main responsibility is to ensure you develop and maintain a perfect company image. You'll be in charge of developing and managing marketing activities that increase awareness, cultivates interest and improves the brand’s reputation.You’ll be in charge of managing the brand image of individuals as well as buisness by forming a reputation through social media. This will be done through promotional activities, campaigns, and media relations.

Key responsibilities

- Planning, developing and implementing innovative PR strategies

- Managing queries from media, individuals and other buisnesses

- Researching and producing press releases to targeted media

- Introducing new brand awareness strategies and campaigns to increase publicity

- Organising social events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours

- Managing and promoting content with users on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook

- Creating brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs that will help the public understand what the organsisation does

- Producing and promoting information about new opportunities and current PR campaigns progress

- Speaking to the public at various interviews, press conferences and presentations

Requirements

To be successful as a Public Relations Manager you're required to have a Bachelor/Master degree in PR, management, business, marketing or related field

Experience required in fields such as PR, marketing and event planning

Strong interpersonal skills

Excellent communication skills - both oral and written

Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and work well under pressure

Problem solving oriented and analytical skills
