This evening the Haymarket Hotel in London will play host to the IDM’s inaugural IDM Fellows' Dinner, where five senior marketers will be made Honorary Life Fellows for their exceptional contribution to the sector. Sponsored by APS Group, the evening will also feature a talk from Steven Overman, Global CMO for Kodak, on the implications of ‘The Conscience Economy’.

The dinner will bring together senior marketing professionals from across the industry to celebrate the new Honorary Life Fellows of the IDM, which is an accolade reserved for those who demonstrate an exceptional contribution to the marketing field. Joining existing fellows like Sir Martin Sorrell, Rory Sutherland and Lester Wunderman, this year’s new additions include:

  • David Reed, Director of Research & Editor-in-Chief at DataIQ
  • Edwina Dunn, CEO at Starcount
  • Jonathan Harman, Managing Director, at Royal Mail MarketReach
  • Matthew Housden, Principal Lecturer at University of Greenwich
  • Melanie Howard, Chair at the Future Foundation

Jane Cave, MD of the IDM, comments: “We’re pleased to welcome five fantastic Honorary Life Fellows to the IDM this evening, all of whom have dedicated themselves to their craft and the betterment of the sector. Each person, in their own unique way, has worked to improve the standing and quality of the marketing profession and it’s for this commitment to the industry’s future that we welcome them as IDM Honorary Fellows.”

The evening’s guest speaker will be Steven Overman author of The Conscience Economy, Global Chief Marketing Officer for Kodak and President of the Consumer and Film Division. Steven will discuss the implications of The Conscience Economy, exploring this unprecedented shift in human motivation and behaviour and will provide context and inspiration on how to reframe and evolve your business. All guests will receive a free copy of the book at the event.
