Advertising legend and Google’s head of design Patrick Collister is coming to Bristol to headline ZEDTalks – the antidote to creative anxiety. He'll be joined by EMO Unlimited's creative director Rajnish Razdan and Nick Barthram, Principal Digital Planner at Bray Leino.
The evening will feature short speeches on creativity and integration - an idea that's been with us for a long time. In the past it was characterised as ‘matching luggage’; the same creative idea and visuals adopted across a range of media. But, rightly so, things have moved on.
As media channels have multiplied, so have the opportunities to harness the power of each to tell a story around a central theme and engage at each touchpoint.
But the opportunities and challenges don’t start and end there.
Who creates the ‘integration’? The agency? The client? Or the consumer?
Should campaigns be integrated across platforms or exploit the inherent possibilities of each?
How do we create and sell integrated ideas, when we might know the start point but not the end?
Is the term ‘integration’ even relevant anymore?
Get the answers. Get some ZEDs.
