As brands befriend media platforms directly, what role will creative and media agencies play in the near future?

The long-accepted wisdom amongst many brands has been to outsource content creation, with billions spent engaging creative and media agencies to fulfill advertising and demand creation briefs.

However some brands are moving away from pressing the “outsource” button. Businesses are looking to purchase content creation platforms directly, picking up the assets and the talent and bringing the whole brand-building operation in in-house.

So is this shift in behaviour leaving creative and media agencies a little nervous about their place in the process? We’ll paint a picture of a swiftly evolving landscape with the leading voices from both the agency and client sides of the fence.

You will hear from:

  • Pipa Unsworth, founder and MD of Verve IQ and DMA Agencies Council Chair
  • John Watton, senior marketing director, Adobe

We round off with a panel discussion where you will be able to pose your questions to our experts. Joining our speakers is Geraint Jones, business development director at Dragon Rouge.

This event is ideal for digital marketers looking to get the latest insight from agency and clientside perspectives on the changing role for creative shops and media agencies in brand content creation.
