We kick off our new series of career workshops for rising stars in marketing with personal branding.

This event is now sold out. If you would like to be added to the waiting list then please email lauren.kaye@dma.org.uk

Yes that’s right, you as a brand! It’s not just the likes of David Beckham and Kim Kardashian who have to cultivate the right brand image. We live in the era of the personal brand where professionals need to get their branding spot on, whether it’s on social media networks or day-to-day interaction with colleagues – especially those at boardroom level.

In this morning career workshop, four industry leaders will show you how to pitch your idea (or yourself) to senior colleagues and stand head and shoulders above your peers.

DMA Board member and business development director at Arc Worldwide, Richard Dutton, gets things started with a look at personal branding and a few tips on how to make yourself heard in a professional setting.

3 speedy skills sessions to help you get ahead in marketing

1. How to get in with senior people
DMA Agencies Council Chair and former chief product officer at DigitasLBi, Pipa Unsworth, will look at how to engage with and build a rapport with C-suite and boardroom level colleagues.

2. The importance of finding a mentor
Mobile and innovation strategy consultant and Mobile & Connected Marketing Council Chair, Mark Brill, will explain the role mentors play in developing your career.

3. Fast-track your career
Business Director at The Wooden Table, Stephen Chandler, will discuss career development strategies that will help you get to where you want to be.

It's one morning out of your working day that could change the course of your career. Don't miss out, book your place today.
