Come and talk words and the effect words have at Copywriting Club Edinburgh on 17 August, with a special focus on millennials and financial services, featuring freelance marketing consultant Faith Liversedge.
This event is proving extremely popular and is now sold out. To register your interest and be put on the waiting list, please email Charlotte Gough.
There’s a few things you should know about Copywriting Club.
It’s not a tutorial.
But you will learn something from an expert.
It’s not an A-Z guide to copywriting.
But you will pick up titbits to help you in your work.
It’s not a cult.
But you will keep coming back.
This time we'll look at millennials and their tricky relationship with financial services companies.
Millennials are at best dubious about the traditional financial services sector, often favouring new and challenger brands.
There has never been a better time to give financial services brands personality.
Faith will cover:
Challenge banks and Millennials
Getting the balance right - how much is too much?
The role of compliance
Tips for adding personality to the driest of comms
Faith began life as a journalist in London, but journalism's loss was adland's gain as she switched to copywriting in Edinburgh.
Faith has worked for People Scotland, Standard Life, Prudential and Royal London and won awards for her work at Nucleus. She is now a freelance adviser.
In November we'll have another Copywriting Club and the #writerscrawl festival.
See you there
