Renowned for nurturing some of the UK’s very best direct and digital marketing talent, DMA’s West region has a long-standing legacy of a passionate and proactive council that delivers for regional members and the Association. Yet, with so much going on behind the scenes, it’s time for us to ignite discussion and further develop member participation.
Following the merger of the DMA and IDM in recent weeks, it’s no surprise that a tide of change will surge across existing councils and boards. While challenges linger as a result of the economic downturn and the imminent EU Data Protection Regulation (DPR) places the industry in uncharted waters, there’s no time like the present to voyage into these unexplored territories together.
Our vision for our region’s future is bright, engaging and ambitious.
We want our region to be driven by a dynamic and proactive ensemble of professionals working together to inspire change and support creativity. We will strive to fuel talent initiatives and build strong relationships with educators, industry and government to make Direct Marketing a first-choice career option.
For the West Region to grow and flourish, engaging with our members at every opportunity will be essential. Going forward, highlights of the West Council meetings will be published on the DMA website, and our members will be invited to share their views and contribute ideas. From knowledge transfer and regional events to talent development and industry opportunities, we will aspire to keep our members informed of all regional and industry developments.
As we hoist the sails and journey across these tides of change, it’s time to take a leap of faith, jump aboard and get all hands on deck. Are you with us?
