JOB DESCRIPTION

Job title: Programme Content Manager, IDM

Location DMA House, Margaret Street, London W1

Direct Report: Head of Programme Content, IDM

The IDM seeks a multi-tasker who will thrive in a busy office in the middle of significant growth.

You could be:

• A sub editor

• A media planner

• An account manager

Or really anyone who wants to put your skills into a growing brand to achieve tangible results. The successful candidate must have excellent written and organisational skills.

In addition, you will need to project manage courses from inception to publication through to assessment. You will also manage a talented executive.

The IDM has helped marketers further their careers and businesses achieve their goals for more than 30 years.

The IDM’s Programme Content team manages the development and publication of digital courses. It also handles much of the copywriting for the business, from blogs to emails to PPC to social.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage courses from idea to publication through to assessment against demanding timescales
  • Responsible for ensuring all content is legally compliant and up to date
  • Edit and review online content against course stated Learning Objectives to make sure content is inspiring, accurate, current and presented at the correct course Level.
  • Together with the Qualifications Manager, manage the assessment process, writing exam questions, gaining approval from the Exam Board , briefing the eLearning Technology Manager on the build, testing and delivery
  • Together with the eLearning Technology Manager, consider new ways to reach students and ways of using new media to help learning
  • Comfortable producing films which could range from lectures to webinars to interviews to help marketers learn
  • Experiment with sound and design to produce learning material that students really use
  • Help develop course outlines and working with the Subject Matter Experts deliver training content and material for public courses and corporate clients, which will include multinational brands
  • Working with the Marketing Team write and develop marketing material that sells, course outlines and other website copy to promote the courses
  • Work with different teams to help the business meet its aims, including marketing, sales and delivery
  • Manage and report to Senior Management on the Programme Content budget

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have excellent communication skills and be a team player
  • Be an energetic person with a positive attitude that is driven, creative and resourceful
  • Be self-motivated, a self-starter, goal-oriented and have high enthusiasm
  • Have exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Be able to multi-task and handle change
  • Be productive under pressure and able to juggle their workload

Experience in the education sector and/or digital marketing sector would be an advantage but not essential for a fast learner

Salary: Dependent on experience
