The ICO is reviewing its direct marketing guidance and wants your opinion
07 Aug 2015
The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) last published its direct marketing guidance in 2013 and it provided marketers and legal teams with handy tool to check whether their campaigns were compliant or not. That guidance is now being updated by the ICO.
In light of recent media attention related to direct marketing and data protection the ICO decided to act. It wants to hear the views of businesses up and down the country and find out how useful the 2013 guidance was or what needs to be changed.
To this end the ICO have designed a short survey. The survey closes on 18 September 2015.
