Better together

Challenging Urban Isolation and Loneliness

Today’s cities provide us with more opportunities than ever before to connect with one another, engage in new and interesting activities and secure the resources necessary to live healthy and fulfilling lives. However, cities can also be immensely isolating places lacking in intimacy, identity and accessibility.

At this year’s Service Design Global Conference in New York (October 2-3, 2015), together with Designit, we challenge participants to bring their passion for service design and develop unique future-oriented services and experiences that empower citizens of urban environments to create meaningful connections with one another and their surroundings.

The Designit and Wipro Digital Challenge Team has created an engaging new Challenge format with special ways to collaborate and share your ideas during SDGC15 and beyond. The winning individual/team will receive an invitation to visit the Designit service design center of their choice – Madrid, Munich or Copenhagen – and meet our experts. Your travel will be covered up to $5,000 (as a team) and must be completed by April 30, 2016.

We’re looking forward to engaging with you on inspiring new service design ideas that help to imagine a more accessible, collaborative, and connected future for everyone.
