Mapp Digital Appoints Marketing Industry & Technology Veterans Juhan Lee and Matthew Langie as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Marketing Officer

Mapp Digital, (mapp.com/digital) today announced the appointment of Juhan Lee and Matthew Langie as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, respectively.

Today’s strategic hires come at a time when Mapp Digital is experiencing consistent and significant growth. This year, Mapp Digital set new customer sales records for the last three quarters in a row, doubling its year-over-year growth. The Mapp Digital global footprint has also expanded – global customer sales up by over 200% annually – with new customers joining its roster of brands in the US, UK and across EMEA.

This month, Mapp Digital celebrates its first anniversary since launching last summer (2016). Over the last year, Mapp Digital has grown into the largest global, independent digital marketing technology provider with over 3,000 customers.

As CMO, Matthew Langie will be responsible for managing and overseeing all global marketing initiatives for the company. Langie will focus on growing the footprint of Mapp Digital and its recently launched Customer Engagement Platform, integrated Data Management Platform (DMP), and Customer Centric Services approach that enables marketers to optimize customer experiences across email, social, mobile push and web marketing.

Langie is a 20-year career digital marketer, who previously served as CMO of MarketLinc. Before that, he held marketing leadership positions at Adobe, Omniture, Infor, Webtrends, and Curalate. Langie is a long-standing board member of the Internet Marketing Association, serving as its vice chairman. He also serves as an adjunct instructor at the University of California, Irvine teaching digital marketing best practices, as well as advising various startups, public companies, and investors with marketing strategies and industry insights.

Lee was most recently Corporate Vice President at Samsung Electronics. Prior to that, he held executive positions at eBay, Inc. and Microsoft.
