DMA Mentoring Scheme - Get Involved Now!

DMA Talent are back on the hunt for senior and junior marketers passionate to utilise and develop their skills for the next round of the DMA Mentoring Scheme. The aim of the programme is for experienced marketers to use their talents to nurture young people in the sector.

Interested in becoming a mentor?

If you feel you have the skills and expertise to support and guide someone new into the industry, the mentoring programme is something you’ll really want to get involved in. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for you to learn a thing or two, with many of our past and current mentors pleasantly surprised at the impact it’s had on their personal growth and development.

What about the mentees?

If you’re fresh into your career and are looking for advice from someone who’s been there and done it, the mentoring scheme offers the perfect platform. Whether it’s advice on career aspirations or challenges in your role, our mentors have been selected to offer rounded, informed advice. This is your chance to develop a relationship with and pick the brains of someone with a wealth of marketing knowledge and expertise, so what are you waiting for!

How does it work?

Held in a central London location, the evening event sees an equal number of mentors and mentees descend upon DMA Talent. Think speed dating and you’ve got a pretty good idea of how things run; each partner will have roughly 10 minutes together before moving onto the next. After a few drinks, all participants write down their top 3 choices. From there, DMA Talent work their magic in finding you a suitable match.

Each pair will have an initial kick off meeting to discuss objectives and logistics of the mentoring. A commitment of at least 3 months is required from both parties, however from this point it is completely the choice of the pair if they would like to continue the mentoring relationship.
