Call for responses: CAP Consultation on GDPR

On 27 April, the Committee of Advertising Practice released their consultation on the proposed changes to its rules on the collection and use of data for marketing.
As one of the main independent bodies who decide whether advertisements are fair and truthful, it is vital that the signatories of the code agree on the implications of the new GDPR regulation for advertising standards.
As such, if you are a signatory of the CAP, your review and feedback will be most welcomed.
The consultation will last for 6 weeks, closing at 5pm on 8 June 2018 and published on the CAP website when the outcome is announced.
