2019’s Creative Data Academy programme continues tomorrow in Manchester at MediaCityUK, running from 24 -26 April, giving another 30 aspiring data-driven marketers the opportunity to connect with employers and discover the wide variety of roles available in the industry.

This is the first time the academy has been held in Manchester and we’re delighted to announce that Asda have joined Synectics Solutions as sponsors and a special thank you to The DMTrust who are supporting the entire Creative Data Academy programme through the Derek Holder Legacy Fund.

Across the 3 days, students will listen to talks from industry experts and data specialists, and put their skills to the test by working on a brief set by Asda. Members of the Asda team will set the brief on the first day and the students will pitch their responses to Asda and Synectics Solutions at the end of the week.

Simon Booth, Marketing and Communications Manager at Synectics said,

‘We’re delighted to be a technology sponsor for this initiative. Synectics is passionate about engaging students considering careers in data science and other areas of software development. The Creative Data Academy allows us to present students with a challenge that will engage their imagination and help to show them some of the exciting opportunities that focussing on this area could lead to for their future careers.’

You can follow all the action over the three days on twitter either via our page @DMATalent or #CreativeDataAcademy.

DMA Talent has already run a 3 day academy in London and is running another in Edinburgh in July, as well as 1 day hackathon labs in various locations across the UK. If you’re seeking the next generation of fresh data talent and are based in London, Manchester or Edinburgh then we’d love to hear from you! Drop us an email to find out more.
