Age Concern England and Help the Aged came together in April 2009 to create a new charity dedicated to improving the lives of older people and as of Spring 2010 we will be known by our new legal name Age UK. We speak with one voice on behalf of all older people and our vision is of a world where older people flourish. We work with partners to ensure that together we can improve the lives of older people. National Age Concerns in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have joined together with Help the Aged in those nations to create new charities just like ours. We continue to work closely with the 350 local Age Concerns across England supporting their excellent work in providing high quality services for older people.
