Briefly an actor and theatre company owner followed by publishing; stints at ICD (later bought by Experian); The Database Group, Payne Stracey (direct marketing agency) from where I moved to their client BT, working initially in their famed Central Communications (Marketing) Unit before being reorganised many times and working in the business, and consumer divisions focussing mainly on data analytics, data management and CRM. Moved to the BBC in 2007 heading up Data Management for TV Licensing, working closely with the wider BBC on data protection, privacy and information security.
