Are you an aspiring marketer, or do you know one who’s keen to get stuck into a live client brief?

If so, you’ve come to the right place.

We’ve partnered with Tourism NT and StudentUniverse to give aspiring marketers the opportunity to discover what it’s like to work on a real-life marketing brief and be in with the chance to see their work go live.

Get you hands on the brief by clicking here.

The deadline for entries is 12 April 2020 (23:59 GMT) and you can submit yours here.

The Brief

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create a marketing campaign for Tourism NT. You will target 18-30-year-olds, highlight the sites they'll love, and ultimately generate bookings to Australia’s Northern Territory via StudentUniverse.

Why Enter?

This is your chance to work on a real-life brief. The winning team will work with StudentUniverse and Tourism NT to execute their campaign and bring it to life.

Additionally, each member of the winning team will win £300’s worth of StudentUniverse travel vouchers that you can put towards your own adventure.

Who Can Enter?

  • Aspiring marketers who are up for a challenge
  • Teams made up of at least three people, with a maximum of six members
  • Full-time students – all team members need to be students, but you don’t have to be studying marketing

When you're ready to get the ball rolling, hit the button below and download the brief.

What Happens Next?

After the first stage of judging, up to eight finalist teams will be invited to pitch their solutions to a panel of judges. We had planned to hold the pitches on the 7 May 2020, however, due to the ongoing coronavirus situation, we have decided to move the date back slightly. We will continue to closely monitor the government’s guidance and we will decide in the coming weeks when the new pitch date will be, and whether we will run it face to face in London or virtually (via Zoom for example), depending on the restrictions in place.

FAQs

We’ve put together a list of FAQs, including more information on the above, to help you with your response to the brief, which you can view by clicking here. If you have any questions that aren’t covered, please email them to us on dmatalent@dma.org.uk.
