2015 was a great year in a great industry. But what lies ahead for marketers, creatives and data specialists in 2016?
As marketers we place great value on being able to peer into the future. We like to make trends, spot trends and always put ourselves ahead of the curve. Join the industry’s leading thinkers as we look back at the defining work of 2015 and debate the trends destined to shape 2016 and beyond.
Your host is Mark Runacus, partner at Karmarama and Chair of the DMA Awards Committee. He kicks off proceedings by introducing a case study of the finest work of 2015: our Grand Prix winner, the "Raising Eyebrows and Subscriptions" campaign from Proximity London and UM London for their client, The Economist.
We then turn our attention to the next twelve months and examine:
- Strategy: Jonathan Earle, Strategic Consultant and Former Head of Strategy, O2 will talk through how technology trends are impacting todays business stategy
- Creativity: what is the path best trodden for attention-seeking marketers? Mark Earls, HERDmeister general at the HERD Consultancy, will take to the stage along side Laura Jordan-Bambach, creative partner at Mr. President
- Data: what role will data have in 2016? B&Q / Kingfisher CRM and insight specialist Danny Crowe tells us how data used well builds memorable customer experiences.
We move on to a panel discussion on the future of the industry. Introduced by Mark Runacus, featuring our speakers. Each panellist will present a key trend for 2016 for a quickfire debate and Q&A. Remember those thinking caps.
To round off, our host Mark Runacus introduces the DMA Awards Annual 2015. This collection showcases the work that won over our judges in the year just gone.
