Train the trainers: vulnerable consumers workshop
14 Mar 2017
Learn how to train your staff to help them identify and better serve customers in vulnerable circumstances at these special sessions run by Elaine Lee of ReynoldsBusbyLee and Jacqui Crawley of KMB, supported by the DM Trust
Responsible marketers know how to respect the needs of all customers or supporters.
Last year the DMA’s Vulnerable Consumers Taskforce ran a workshop to train marketers how to respect customers in vulnerable circumstances in their marketing or fundraising, and then train others, including customer facing staff, at their organisation to do the same.
The workshop was significantly oversubscribed. Due to overwhelming demand we have added four new dates in 2017 which are again part-funded by the DM Trust and run by:
Both of co-chair the DMA’s Vulnerable Consumers Taskforce and helped build the Call centre guidelines for vulnerable people.
These sessions are to train the trainers, to train staff not just how to identify and support customers who may be in vulnerable circumstances, but to then take the training into your organisation.
Interactive and intimate workshops will allow you to learn new skills and give you the confidence to act responsibly.
Four more sessions will run on the following days at DMA House, 70 Margaret Street, W1W 8SS. There are only 16 places per session so book your place now to avoid disappointment:
- Tuesday 4 April
- Friday 12 May
- Tuesday 19 September
- Thursday 30 November
Sessions are subsidised by the DM Trust and will cost £120 for DMA Members, £140 for non-members.
Each session takes a day and lunch is included.
Supported by the DM Trust.
