Inserts Council
The Inserts Council seeks to represent the interests of all members involved in the inserts process - from clients, agencies and media buyers, to printers and publishers. We focus on a number of important areas for the business, including research and the environment.
- Our Inserts Industry Monitors have figures for the majority of the industry by quarter and by carrier type. Our Inserts Industry Monitor reveals a welcome bounce back of the inserts market – each Quarter in 2011 was up between 12 and 14% halting six consecutive quarters of decline
- Regarding Environmental Best Practice, we are working to ensure that the UK’s top inserters carry recycling messages and logos on all of their insert activity, and that all our Best Practice Top Tips for environmentally friendly print is being carried out
- Training and Events are a key part of our remit, and we have now collaborated with The Doordrop Council to produce a joint event, in both London and Manchester – We also are involved in the wider DMA Go Integrated event each year
- Regular Newsletters are created to spread the word of not only the Council but promote the medium to all parts of the industry
