US tech engineer and social media pioneer Harper Reed was the mastermind behind the social campaign to re-elect Barack Obama in 2012. Harper will explain how he and his team of developers built a tech platform that enabled the innovative micro-targeting of millions of supporters that resulted in raising $1bn in campaign donations and secured their votes.

The technology that enables on-demand viewing is changing the way in which people consume TV. Steve will look at how the latest innovations is shifting focus from multi-channel to connectivity and how Channel 4’s unique two-way relationship with its audiences is adding new value for its advertising partners.
